Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Inside Sales Account Manager to manage sales enquiries, prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities, and ensure smooth order processing through to billing while building strong customer and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and accurately to incoming sales enquiries to support customer needs
- Prepare and issue quotations tailored to customer requirements to facilitate sales opportunities
- Follow up proactively on quotations to drive timely sales closures
- Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry through order confirmation to ensure seamless processing
- Liaise with suppliers to place purchase orders and verify order accuracy for efficient procurement
- Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and provide regular updates to customers
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure accurate documentation for billing and invoicing processes
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, quotations, and orders for reporting and audit purposes
- Identify and establish contact with key decision-makers within customer accounts to expand business opportunities
- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to enhance customer loyalty and retention
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, or a related field
- Experience in inside sales, account management, or sales support
- Experience in the IT or Data Centre industry will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with sales CRM software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and suppliers
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Self-motivated and results-oriented approach to meet sales targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
