Your role within the team

The Innovation & Research (I&R) Director is a newly created role, responsible for the development, implementation, communication and administration of all product development and research strategies and functions in ANZ and Southeast Asia. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be expected to partner closely with the CEO and other leaders to set the overall I&R strategy and direction; assisting the CEO with the product roadmap for H&H Group ANZ & Asia to stay at the forefront of scientific advancement. The successful candidate must be based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and inspire our Project Management Office, Product Development, and Translational Science & Human Studies teams to develop, manage, and execute New Product Development and Existing Product Development strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all members of the Senior Leadership Team and the Marketing Team to continually develop and execute portfolio strategy, meeting the long-term growth needs of H&H Group.
• Understand key ingredients and their functionality in idea generation and development of new products.
• Work directly with the H&H Group business unit teams to refine and evaluate opportunity attractiveness (including financial) for new concepts.
• Actively participate in global innovation launchpad meetings, sharing insights and fostering collaboration to accelerate the development of new ideas.

To make sure we're setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:

• Worked in an Innovation / Research & Development role in the field of food, nutrition, self-care, consumer health and/or beauty.
• 8+ years of experience in Innovation / R&D, Wellness and/or Consumer Goods industry.
• Able to identify emerging trends, technologies and consumer shifts to shape innovation pipelines.
• Strong people leadership managing multiple teams across regions.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to size opportunities, build business cases, and prioritise highvalue innovation bets.
• Familiar with nutritional, botanical and skin care ingredients and the respective suppliers base.
• Comfortable with ingredients, product formulations, specifications and quality and food safety standards.
• Strong understanding of innovation management processes including but not limited to stage gate.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
