Innovation Research, Analyst /Senior Analyst

1. Research on Emerging Trends in Singapore and APAC
・Conduct research on innovations and emerging trends in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, aging, childcare and sustainability sectors across Singapore and the APAC region
・Analyze the latest developments in AI, AI governance, FinTech, HealthTech, InsurTech, digital health, data utilization, and related fields
・Prepare reports and presentations for management and headquarters in Japan

2. Ecosystem Network Building
・Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, insurance companies, startups, Big Tech companies, venture capital firms, accelerators, universities, and government agencies
・Conduct networking and information gathering activities within Singapore's innovation ecosystem
・Identify potential external partners and explore collaboration opportunities

3. Events and Community Engagement
・Participate in conferences, seminars, and industry events in Singapore and overseas
・Gather insights on the latest industry trends and expand external networks through participation in such events
・Support the planning and operation of internal/external events, study visits, and roundtable discussions as needed

4. PoC and Business Collaboration Initiatives
・Plan and promote Proof of Concept (PoC) projects with startups and external partners
・Coordinate and communicate with headquarters in Japan, group companies, and external stakeholders
・Support project management activities including progress tracking, issue management, and reporting of PoC outcomes

5. HQ Collaboration and Strategic Support
・Connect insights and trends from Singapore to headquarters in Japan to support new business development and strategic initiatives
・Provide insights for the Japan market and contribute to group-wide strategic discussions
・Support the preparation of management materials and strategic reports as needed
・Present findings and activity updates to management through business trips to Japan twice a year

Requirements
・ Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline
・ Min. 2 to 5 years of practical experience in finance, FinTech, insurance, HealthTech, consulting, or innovation-related fields
・ Business-level Japanese language proficiency (e.g., JLPT N1) to support stakeholder communication
・Strong English communication skills, including internal and external stakeholders coordination and negotiation
・Strong analytical, information gathering, and reporting capabilities
・Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
・Proven ability to manage projects and multitask effectively
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Copilot

Relevant Experience in One or More of the Following Areas:
・Experience at financial institutions or FinTech companies involving research, business planning, or partnership development in areas such as digital payments, cross-border remittance, stablecoins, digital assets, or related fields
・Experience participating in projects related to digital insurance, AI utilization, customer experience improvement, within insurance companies or InsurTech environments
・Experience in business development or market research in HealthTech or healthcare-related sectors (e.g. medical data protection, health promotion, elderly care, wellness solutions)
・Experience at consulting firms supporting strategy development, new business initiatives, or digital transformation (DX) projects across financial, insurance, or healthcare
・Experience in innovation, CVCs, or similar environments involving startup scouting, PoC promotion, or ecosystem collaboration
