About The Role (Mission)
Working within the C&S Innovation team, the Innovation marketing manager will drive innovative offer creation in the C&S Signaling, Relay and Power supply product families in Singapore. You will operate with both creativity and business acumen, driving initiatives that cultivate an innovation-friendly culture, streamline the execution of new ideas, and ultimately unlock value for the organization and its customers.
The innovation marketing manager will create strategic plans for innovation with the innovation project leader and the innovation technical team members. You will manage the customer-centric innovation activities following Market Trends, Voice of Customer (VoC), UVPs and Listen & Discover approaches in marketing aspects. You will also lead Market Exploration, Offer Exploration, and New product offer preparation and transfer to the Product Development project team.
What will you do
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team in developing customer driven and innovative industrial products
- Develop and implement innovation strategies for Relays, Power Supply and Signaling Offers
- Cultivate strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Fully understand all the stakeholders and functions involved in the design and development process of an innovative product
- Translate customer insights and market trends into offer requirements
- Manage ambiguity and priorities and negotiate tradeoffs for the team
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve team ways of working
What qualifications will make you successful for this role
- Electronic Engineering degree or Industrial product marketing management related field
- At least 5 years in Industrial Business market, preferably in an offer creation role
- Preferably experience or good knowledge in new energy landscape applications
- Relevant professional experience in product development
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Excellent communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English.
- Interest in early-stage product development, being highly resilient and adaptable
- Capability to interpret technology and market trends as a basis for technology and product roadmaps.
- Knowledge of Industrial automation customer needs, both for hardware & software
- Customer-oriented, creativity and a strong enthusiasm are key behavioral drivers for this position
