Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Team Lead to manage operations engineers supporting enterprise infrastructure. This role emphasizes team leadership, operational governance, and service delivery excellence over deep SME technical expertise. The person will lead the operation team across different platforms and infra and will lead the SME. This is a Team Lead role focused on hands-on leadership experience rather than deep SME or architect-level expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of operations engineers and SMEs to ensure effective service delivery
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across infrastructure domains such as Linux and monitoring tools to support operations
- Ensure team adherence to SLA, KPI, and ITIL processes to maintain operational standards
- Oversee monitoring and observability platforms including Elastic and Grafana to maintain system health
- Ensuring stability, availability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure in production
- Act as a liaison between client stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational best practices to enhance team efficiency and service quality
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience with strong Linux (RHEL/Unix) administration skills
- At least 3 years of experience using observability and monitoring tools such as Elastic, ELK, and Grafana
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading operations or support teams in enterprise or system integrator environments
- Solid understanding of incident, problem, and change management aligned with ITIL frameworks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate across teams and clients
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Exposure to Nutanix and other infrastructure platforms
- Experience working within Singapore client environments
- Basic scripting skills in Shell or Bash
