Infrastructure System Engineer

Role:

Join the Infrastructure team and play a key role in keeping mission-critical systems secure, reliable, and scalable.

You'll work on a mix of on-premise and cloud technologies, support automation initiatives, and contribute to projects that power real-world applications across industries.

We're looking for someone hands-on, curious, and eager to grow into areas like cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering.

Responsibilities:

Manage and support Windows & Linux servers (installation, patching, and performance tuning).

Administer VMware & virtualization platforms for high availability and scalability.

Perform system monitoring, backup, and recovery to ensure uptime and resilience.

Collaborate on infrastructure projects (cloud migration, automation, security hardening).

Support network, storage, and enterprise hardware operations.

Participate in incident, problem, and change management following ITIL standards.

Implement automation & scripting (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Bash) to improve efficiency.

Work with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments as part of modernization.

Required Skills:

35 years of experience in infrastructure/system engineering.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), and VMware.

Familiarity with networking, storage, and firewalls.

Exposure to automation and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus.
