Role Summary
Infrastructure Support Specialist responsible for middleware and infrastructure support of business‑critical banking applications across Production and Non‑Production environments. The applications support user login, account opening, and high‑value payment transactions, requiring strong availability, monitoring, and rapid incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer WebLogic and JBoss servers via console and command line
- Perform start/stop, troubleshooting, and maintenance of application servers
- Support SIT, UAT, NFT, and Production environments
- Monitor application & server health to ensure high availability
- Troubleshoot incidents and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Coordinate with WebLogic consultants and Unix system administrators for patching
- Manage SSL certificate renewals on web and middleware servers
- Handle UAT to Production handover activities
- Support environment builds, migrations, and Oracle DB migrations
- Ensure secure file transfers to downstream applications
Primary Skills (Must‑Have)
- WebLogic Server administration
- JBoss Application Server administration
- UNIX / Linux / Solaris
- Apache & iPlanet Web Servers
- Oracle Database (support & migration coordination)
- JVM Heap configuration, thread dumps, log analysis
- Production support & incident management
Good to Have
- WebSphere MQ (basic administration)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or any relevant IT field
- Certificate management (Apache / iPlanet / JBoss)
- Environment migrations & setup
- SFTP, SSH password‑less authentication
- Release & deployment coordination
- UNIX diagnostic tools: lsof, prstat, vmstat, ps
