Infrastructure Project Manager
We are seeking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating IT infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless deployment and upgrade of technology systems that support logistics and supply chain operations. In this role, it requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and external vendors.
This is an APAC regional remit and will plan, coordinate and execute infrastructure projects such as new site deployments, data centre upgrades, cloud migrations and network enhancements ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with business requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and deliverables
- Define project scope, goals and success conditions
- Ensure alignment with IT standards and governance processes
- Conduct project kick-off, updates and status reporting
- Perform scope management and change management
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
- Monitor project budget vs actuals
- Monitor plan vs actual timelines
- Oversee network, cloud and data centre project deployments
- Coordinate upgrades, migrations and system integrations
- Ensure infrastructure meets performance, security and compliance standards
- Collaborate with IT Engineers, Architects, Vendors and business leaders
- Communicate project progress, risks and dependencies
- Facilitate team meetings, status updates and issue resolution
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince 2, Agile Certified Practitioner)
- At least 10 years of working experience of which 5 years in IT Infrastructure Project Management
- Experience with large full end-to-end project lifecycle (from planning to close-out of projects)
- Technical knowledge of Networking, Cloud, Data Centre infrastructure
- Experience designing project plans, communication plans and risk register
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Strong experience in Project Management tools (Jira/MS Project)
- Strong risk management techniques
- Familiarity with IT frameworks e.g. ITIL/Agile
