We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Lead to oversee cloud and infrastructure operations within a highly regulated enterprise environment. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across Azure-based platforms, driving automation initiatives, leading infrastructure teams, andmanagingstakeholderexpectations.Theidealcandidatecombinesstrongtechnicalexpertisewithprovenleadershipcapabilitiesandtheabilitytooperateeffectivelyincomplexservicedeliveryenvironments.
KeyResponsibilities
.Leadday-to-dayinfrastructureoperationsacrossAzurecloudandhybridenvironments,ensuringserviceavailability,security,andoperationalstability.
.Plan,coordinate,andprioritizeoperationalactivitiesacrossmultipleworkstreams,balancingcompetingprioritiesandmanagingdependencieseffectively.
.DriveautomationandoperationalefficiencyinitiativesusingAnsible,PowerShell,Bash,andotherscriptingtools.
.OverseeWindowsandLinuxplatforms,includingpatching,hardening,monitoring,troubleshooting,incidentresponse,andproblemmanagement.
.Leadandmentorateamofinfrastructureengineers,fosteringaccountability,collaboration,andcontinuousimprovement.
.Actastheprimaryescalationpointforcriticaloperationalissues,ensuringtimelyresolutionandeffectivestakeholdercommunication.
.Manageoperationalrisks,serviceimprovements,andcompliancerequirementswithinaregulatedenvironment.
.Provideregularupdatesonserviceperformance,risks,issues,mitigationplans,andoperationalmetricstoleadershipandstakeholders.
RequiredQualifications
.Experiencesupportingpublicsector,government,orhighlyregulatedcloudenvironments.
.StrongworkingknowledgeofMicrosoftAzure,Ansible,WindowsServer,Linux,scripting,andinfrastructureautomation.
.Demonstratedleadershipexperiencemanaginganddevelopingteamsoffiveormoreinfrastructureprofessionals.
.Experienceleadinginfrastructureoperations,incidentmanagement,changemanagement,andservicedeliveryfunctions.
.Strongplanning,coordination,andexecutioncapabilitiesacrossmultipleconcurrentoperationalactivities.
.Excellentstakeholdermanagement,communication,andclient-facingskills.
.Abilitytooperateeffectivelyincompliance-drivenenvironmentswithhighservicereliabilityrequirements.

.ExperienceworkingwithinGovernmentonCommercialCloud(GCC)orsimilarlyregulatedcloudenvironments.
