Job Summary
You will manage and support on-premises infrastructure, virtualization, Kubernetes platforms, storage, backup, and monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premises infrastructure environments to ensure operational stability
- Administer virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi and Nutanix to optimize resource utilization
- Support Kubernetes platforms such as Nutanix Karbon and NKE to enable container orchestration and deployment
- Manage enterprise storage systems including Hitachi, Dell, and Data Domain for reliable data access and retention
- Operate backup solutions like Dell PPDM and Networker to safeguard critical data and enable recovery
- Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Datadog, and ELK to proactively detect issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents to maintain system uptime and service continuity
- Conduct capacity planning, apply patches, and perform system upgrades to enhance infrastructure resilience and scalability
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong experience with VMware ESXi and/or Nutanix virtualization platforms
- Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes platforms
- Proficiency with enterprise storage and backup technologies
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for system health management
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments
- Experience providing Level 3 support in live production settings
