Job Description
- Design, implement, and operate high-performance data centre network solutions to support AI and GPU-accelerated workloads.
- Provide operational support to ensure network reliability, availability, and performance in line with SLAs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues, including proactive prevention of outages.
- Implement network security controls and support compliance with industry security standards and certifications.
- Automate network monitoring, provisioning, and troubleshooting using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver network solutions and manage customer requests.
- Prepare technical documentation, performance reports, and incident/outage analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree or equilent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking Engineering, or a related field. or equivalent networking certifications and certification in Linux systems.
- A solid foundation in data centre or cloud networking, with hands-on experience in routing, switching, and modern network architectures.
- Strong Linux proficiency and a practical understanding of operating systems used in cloud and data centre environments.
- Experience or strong interest in automation and infrastructure-as-code, using tools such as scripting, configuration management, or CI/CD pipelines.
- The ability to troubleshoot complex, high-performance network issues in production environments with a methodical and analytical approach.
- An interest in AI, GPU-accelerated, or high-performance computing platforms, with willingness to learn and grow in this domain.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused and collaborative mindset.
- Comfort working in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call or shift-based support when required.
