We are hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise application infrastructure services. Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into application infrastructure design and services to meet availability, capacity, resiliency, security, and continuity needs.
- Forecast and manage budgets to support project initiatives and maintenance contracts.
- Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy, and configure infrastructure projects, ensuring confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data.
- Ensure that technical architecture and application infrastructure are in compliance with established IT policies and standards.
- Manage day-to-day delivery and support of application infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with other agencies and central teams to facilitate and deliver government-wide services.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years experience (Engineer) or 5 years experience (Senior Engineer) in infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience across at least 1 full project lifecycle (Engineer) or 3 full lifecycles (Senior Engineer).
- Strong ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill down into technical detail.
- Customer-oriented mindset with proven collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred.
