We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer:
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of relevant infrastructure support and OS administration experience
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience managing production application support
- Knowledge of MQ, Elasticsearch, and AWS is preferred
- Hands-on experience in RHEL 6/7 OS patching, administration, and shell scripting
- Good command of Microsoft Office products
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace is an advantage
- Good communication and writing skills, with the ability to drive meetings and coordinate stakeholders
Job Description
Infrastructure Management
- Drive infrastructure project lifecycle - from server provisioning to cutover
- Work with infrastructure and application teams on requirements gathering through implementation
- Review and analyze infrastructure architecture and identify gaps
- Perform RHEL OS patching and other administration tasks for cloud projects
- Guide application teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues
- Act as SME for Linux administration and automation
Operations & Process
- Prepare technical project plans for new initiatives in the BAU environment
- Collaborate with application teams and other infrastructure teams to develop technical solutions and enhancements
- Drive onboarding of new applications into the production environment
Security & Compliance
- In accordance with the bank's security directives, assist in deploying, maintaining, and enhancing the security of all infrastructure systems
- Implement administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, including: Change and configuration management, Anti-virus measures, Patch management, System scans
