Currently, we are looking for Backend Infrastructure Engineer which would be based in Singapore.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for architecting, implementing, and enhancing cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and cost optimisation. You will leverage cloud-native technologies, automate deployments, and build resilient systems with strong high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using third-party or native cloud tools to support automated deployments.
- Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot cloud environments to maintain performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Apply security best practices by managing IAM policies, encryption mechanisms, and network security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Configure and optimise cloud networking, including traffic routing and connectivity across environments.
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen only
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, with a solid understanding of infrastructure automation.
- Good knowledge of networking concepts, cloud security practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
