Infrastructure Architect

Permanent position, Salary up to $10,000

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in designing scalable and secure infrastructure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, incorporating zero-trust security frameworks (e.g., network segmentation, IAM, and secrets management).

• Develop, maintain, and manage architecture documentation, technical specifications, and system diagrams.

• Evaluate change requests and recommend appropriate architectural adjustments.

• Uphold architecture standards and lead capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.

• Perform performance tuning to improve the efficiency and reliability of high-availability systems.

• Oversee third-party vendor management, procurement, and integration processes.

• Facilitate technical discussions and address inquiries from both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, or at least 2 years of proven experience delivering large-scale Singapore Government project implementations.

• Strong technical expertise in infrastructure technologies, including networking, firewalls, load balancers, backup/restore, virtualization, hyperconverged systems, cloud-native stacks, and operating systems.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise Linux systems, including air-gapped deployments, secure configuration, offline patching, and compliance hardening.

• Solid knowledge of Cloud-Native technologies, Kubernetes ecosystems, and secure secrets management with encryption at rest (KMS solutions).

• Deep understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, security protocols, and cryptography.

• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, network architectures, data flow diagrams, and security control mappings.
