Infrastructure Architect / Data Center Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Infrastructure Architect / Data Center Engineer located in Singapore. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions to support organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and evaluating solution architectures, managing data center operations, monitoring systems performance, and ensuring network reliability and security. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and fulfill infrastructure needs, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining system compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and Architecture to design, implement, and maintain technical frameworks
• Expertise in Solution Architecture for creating and evaluating scalable and efficient IT systems
• Networking skills, including configuration, security, and troubleshooting of network systems
• Hands-on experience in System Administration, such as servers, storage, and virtualization technologies
• Ability to manage and operate data center infrastructure effectively
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices related to IT infrastructure
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or similar) would be an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred
