Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure infrastructure for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Define and uphold architecture standards with clear technical documentation and diagrams.
- Lead capacity planning, system performance tuning, and high-availability optimization.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and integration processes.
- Act as the bridge between technical teams, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring clear communication.
- Evaluate change requests, recommend architectural improvements, and implement zero-trust security frameworks.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of involvement in large-scale Singapore Government projects.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure technologies (networking, firewalls, virtualization, cloud-native stacks, Linux).
- Advanced knowledge in enterprise Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE), including secure, air-gapped deployments.
- Deep proficiency in cloud-native and Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, Rancher, OpenShift), container runtimes, and secure secrets management with KMS solutions (AWS, Azure, HashiCorp, Thales).
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, IT risk management, security frameworks, and cryptography.
- Skilled in technical documentation and architectural design (HLD, LLD, diagrams).
