Job Description:
We are seeking a capable Infrastructure and Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain the Bank's existing computer networks and servers.
Responsibilities include managing and monitoring networks, servers, and systems, working closely with the Head Office IT team in strategising network upgrades, troubleshooting network and system issues, and maintaining high network security standards.
Descriptions / Roles
• Work with head office network teams to design and deploy networks, systems, and servers related to LANs, WANs, and WLANs.
• Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures to protect network integrity and data privacy.
• Carry out network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes to ensure compliance and facilitate troubleshooting.
• Manage Infrastructure projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience, preferably in a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of windows environment, group policy management, network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CompTIA Network+ / Cloud+ or equivalent are highly valued.
• Must have prior experience in security technologies, practices, application/network/systems architecture and design and Project management
• Knowledge of MAS TRM guidelines and notices is an advantage
• Ability to stay abreast of industry trends and recent infrastructure developments in related areas.
• Analytical & possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
