Experience

8+ years of overall IT experience, with strong experience managing technology projects within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, or Corporate Finance environments.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong Finance/Financial Services background to lead and deliver complex technology projects across finance, banking, accounting, payments, risk, regulatory, and enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, requirements gathering, budgeting, resource management, execution, risk management, stakeholder management, testing, deployment, and project closure.

The candidate should have a good understanding of both IT project delivery and Finance business processes, enabling them to effectively communicate with Finance stakeholders, business users, technology teams, vendors, and senior management.

Experience working on Finance Transformation, ERP, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Banking Applications, Payments, Treasury, Risk, Accounting, or Digital Transformation projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities – IT Project Manager

• Manage IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage project budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Conduct project meetings and track action items.
• Manage vendors and third-party partners when required.
• Coordinate requirements, development, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Ensure projects meet agreed quality, scope, budget, and timeline.
• Manage changes to project scope and ensure proper approvals.
• Ensure proper project documentation and governance.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and post-go-live activities.
• Identify potential issues early and drive them toward resolution.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as:

Microsoft Project

Jira

Confluence

Azure DevOps

ServiceNow

• Understanding of enterprise applications and integration architecture.
• Good understanding of APIs, databases, cloud technologies, system integrations, and data migration.
• Experience managing system integration projects.
• Understanding of data migration and reconciliation processes.
• Experience coordinating application development and infrastructure teams.
• Understanding of SDLC, release management, change management, and production deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and technology governance within financial environments.
• Strong IT Project Management experience.
• Strong Finance / Banking / Financial Services domain knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

• PMP
• PRINCE2
