INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large development and production support teams (100+ FTEs) across onsite and offshore environments.
• Ensure delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and P&L responsibility.
• Establish operating procedures, team planning, and work assignments within span of control.
• Oversee IT projects in Payments, Channels, and Wealth Management, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Work with multi-vendor environments, coordinating multiple stakeholders for seamless delivery.
• Apply knowledge of project management methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, Iterative, etc.
• Implement productivity improvement levers to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage cloud-based project delivery and ensure adherence to ITIL processes.
• Lead service recovery activities and manage overall service quality for client-facing engagements.
• Participate in RFP/Bid processes, including due diligence and vendor transition management.
• Demonstrate technical acumen to effectively manage development, testing, and operations teams.
• Prepare and present status reports and updates to senior management.

Key Requirements

Technical / Professional Experience

• Proven experience managing large IT development and production support teams (100+ FTEs) in outsourced/onshore-offshore setups.
• Domain knowledge in BFSI, Retail Banking, Payments, and Wealth Management.
• Experience managing delivery in multi-vendor environments.
• Strong project management skills certified in project management and Agile ways of working.
• Hands-on understanding of software development, testing, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with fixed-price engagements, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
• Familiarity with IT outsourcing models and commercial engagement frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and productivity improvement techniques.
• Experience participating in RFPs, bid processes, and vendor transitions.
