Work as Project Manager in the field of IT Application development, maintenance, delivery and IT infrastructure setup.
Apply both classic (waterfall) and Agile (Scrum) methodologies in project execution.
Plan technical deliverables (including new system onboarding, any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project's requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution
Plan, monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery
Provide status update related to technical delivery to Project Manager (PM)
Partner with System Analysts and Business Solution Specialist to collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements
Partner with Architects and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards
Partner with Development Manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements
Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results
Manage technical implementation plan across application teams - coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post implementation support
Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions
Understand user/stakeholder requirements and formulate technical design documents.
Co-ordinate with vendor on specifications, delivery testing, and implementation.
Implementation of middle and back-office systems for Group Global Markets.
Manage end to end testing for users with vendor to internal UOB systems.
Work with internal Change Control Management for deployment of changes.
Work with internal infrastructure and security teams on implementations.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in computer science or related field.
More than 10 years working experience, with at least 8 years in software management, business analysis, system analysis, Technology / Infra upgrade and project/change implementation experience in the financial industry, direct exposure in Market Data platform, Cloud platform and Voice Recording / Playback systems.
Strong technical knowledge and/or platform knowledge in Market Data platform and applications such as Voice Recording / Playback Systems, Post trade system, Gold Inventory system, Refinitiv applications and Cloud platforms.
Experience in Analysing & Implementing Global Market Application across entity.
Experience in Technology / Infrastructure upgrade & Data Centre Migration.
Experience in cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
Experience in end-to-end system implementation from pre-project to Go-Live.
Working knowledge in RFPs with end-to-end project implementation experience.
More than 10 years track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility
More than 8 years leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams
Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders
Experience in working with security, network, infra provisioning & architect teams.
Experience in upgrading/migrating end of life platform to the latest technology platform.
Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation
Experience in Agile and hybrid methodologies for iterative development and continuous improvement.
Strong technical development background, experience in software development life cycle & documentation.
Experience in service-oriented technologies
Experience in setting up applications in newly provisioned infra (e.g. OS, network, storage, agents, database, aldon, control M, monitoring tools etc.)
Experience in setting up of connections to the other Interface Systems, batch processing, IBM MQ.

Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 8 years)
