Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of the hotel's IT infrastructure, business systems, cybersecurity, and technology projects. You'll be the go-to expert ensuring every digital touchpoint supports operational excellence and outstanding guest experiences.
IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Manage and organize all business applications, databases, and messaging systems in line with corporate standards and industry best practices.
- Develop, manage, and optimize the hotel's IT infrastructure, including advance security and monitoring system, ensuring high availability, stability, and security.
- Monitor system performance and address any inefficiencies or system inadequacies proactively.
Budgeting & Procurement
- Prepare the hotel's annual IT budget and submit to corporate for approval.
- Source, evaluate, and recommend IT systems and upgrades.
- Review, negotiate, and manage hardware/software maintenance agreements and licenses with vendors.
- Liaise with vendors and intermediaries / channels to ensure operational efficiency
Project Management & Change Control
- Spearhead and manage all hotel IT-related projects and initiatives.
- Lead change management processes to ensure smooth rollouts with minimal operational disruption.
User Training & Support
- Operate a responsive IT support function for all hotel users, liaising with global networks and supports.
- Educate team members on proper usage of systems and IT resources to minimize failures and downtime.
What You Bring
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience, preferably within hospitality.
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Studies, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in: Windows OSHotel applications such as Opera, Opera Cloud, Unifocus, Knowcross, Futurelog, Sun-microsystem, Quick HR, CISCO networks, DNS, website/email administration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-oriented mindset, calm under pressure, and solution-focused.
- Ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability.
