The Infant Educator creates a secure, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers by building respectful relationships and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula. They engage families and communities to support children's learning and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Design and create developmentally appropriate materials and resources to enhance quality learning environments for infants and toddlers
- Implement strategies that build respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with infants and toddlers to support their emotional and social development
- Apply health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene practices consistently according to established standards and procedures
- Foster a collaborative culture within the Centre by actively engaging with colleagues and supporting teamwork
- Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between home and Centre environments
- Conduct routine caregiving tasks in compliance with standards and procedures to meet infants and toddlers daily needs
