About the team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business. Our teams include Sales, Marketing, Operations, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, and Marketing Science. GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group.
Responsibilities
Being a Consultant to clients and internal stakeholders
- We are in the business of solutions - these cover everything from product adoption, strategy and/or optimizations to help our clients link their marketing objectives to their business goals.
- Keeping up to date with product developments, market landscape, vertical movements and competitor activities to give clients, their agencies, and internal teams a holistic view of what next steps to take.
- Driving and facilitating the adoption of MMPs, SDK where applicable.
- Putting together narratives, workshops and business reviews etc. to educate and upskill clients in charting the way forward.
- Establish the value of TikTok as a core part of an app advertiser's user acquisition and growth strategy.
Technical Skills & App Marketing Knowledge
Measurement & Attribution
- Hands-on experience with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer, Adjust, or Singular — including SDK integration, event mapping, and postback configuration.
- Working knowledge of SKAdNetwork (SKAN) and Privacy Sandbox, with the ability to understand aggregated attribution data.
- Solid understanding of attribution and measurement fundamentals, with the ability to QA tracking setups, identify discrepancies between platform and MMP data, and diagnose root causes.
Platform Setup & Campaign Management
- Proficient in TikTok Ads Manager, especially App Install and App Event Optimization campaigns.
- Experience managing app performance campaigns across Meta and Google UAC.
- Familiarity with campaign setup and optimization across the funnel, from installs to in-app events such as registration, purchase, or ROAS optimization.
Troubleshooting & Technical Problem-Solving
- Comfortable diagnosing SDK, tracking, and delivery issues in collaboration with client technical teams and internal cross-functional partners.
- Able to identify and address common performance issues such as creative fatigue, audience saturation, and unstable delivery.
Stakeholder Management & Revenue Impact
- Partner closely with sales teams on account planning and opportunity planning to support revenue growth.
- Work effectively across cross-functional teams and understand how to engage the right stakeholders to support account growth.
- Drive adoption of key products, programs, and packages aligned with company and market priorities.
- Track revenue performance and assess the business impact of client activities at both account and team levels.
- Share client, market, and vertical learnings across teams through case studies and other knowledge-sharing formats.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is required to communicate and correspond effectively with internal and external stakeholders across Southeast Asia, including China.
- Good understanding of digital media and marketing landscape; specialized vertical knowledge in app marketing fundamentals, including user acquisition, attribution, measurement, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with mobile measurement partners (MMPs), SDK setup, postback flows, and app measurement frameworks such as SKAdNetwork.
- Experience in account management, client services, or client solutions within digital advertising, with a preference for app or performance marketing experience, and cross-vertical knowledge.
- Solid understanding of media metrics and advertising KPIs, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and solve performance issues.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, measurement, and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve technical or delivery-related issues.
- Proficient in Excel, dashboarding, and data analysis; highly detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable solving complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building strategic programs aimed at driving education and product adoption.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing based on impact and urgency.
