Our client, a prominent Singapore-headquartered organization and a leading player in its field, is seeking an Industrial Relations Specialist to manage employee relations matters, handle investigations and grievances, and support union engagement and workplace compliance.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Provide advisory support to business leaders on employee matters, ensuring fair and consistent people practices.
- Lead and manage employee relations cases including grievance handling, misconduct reviews, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Review and enhance internal HR governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Engage unions and key stakeholders to maintain strong labour-management relations, supporting collective bargaining and change management initiatives.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Resource Management or Law.
- Strong knowledge and experience in employment-related matters and labour legislation.
- Experience in employee relations, grievance handling, investigations and/or unionengagement is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, able to engage senior management and union leaders.
- High level of integrity, emotional maturity, and discretion.
