Inside Sales Executive (Timber & Pallet Solutions)
Overview
Responsible for driving sales growth by cold calling new prospect, preparing quotations, and supporting customers with timber and pallet solutions. Acts as the key link between customers, operations, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support & Conversion
- Handle inbound inquiries for timber, plywood, and pallet products
- Prepare and follow up on quotations promptly
- Convert leads into confirmed orders through consistent follow-up
- Cold Calling New Customer ( Logistic/Semi Conductor/FNB )
2. Product Consultation
- Advise customers on suitable timber species, pallet types, and specifications
- Recommend cost-effective and operationally suitable solutions
- Understand customer requirements in logistics, warehousing, and export
3. Order Management
- Process sales orders accurately (dimensions, treatment, quantity)
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations for order fulfillment
- Ensure smooth delivery timelines
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Follow up regularly to secure repeat business
- Handle feedback, complaints, and service recovery
5. Pricing & Market Awareness
- Monitor timber and pallet market pricing trends
- Work with management to adjust pricing strategies
- Stay aware of competitor offerings
Skills & Requirements
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Sales-driven and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to understand technical specifications (timber sizes, pallet types)
- Organized and able to handle multiple customers/orders
- Experience in timber, logistics, or industrial sales is an advantage
