We are seeking a committed candidate as Indirect Procurement Executive to ensure reliable, effective and timely procurement of all non‑raw materials and services and find cost‑effective suppliers and discover ways to cut procurement expenses.
Job Description
- Review purchase requisitions and suppliers quotations.
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers and follow up on delivery schedules.
- Proactively develop new, cost‑effective, and alternative sources of supplies and services.
- Monitor trends in the various supply markets and industries to devise and implement cost‑reducing sourcing strategies.
- Responsible for delivering annual category cost savings targets.
- Manage RFPs, negotiate with suppliers, and execute the contracts.
- Serve as key contact for stakeholders in their area of responsibility. Build effective relationships of mutual trust and understanding.
- Manage and build effective relationships with key suppliers to drive value for cost effectiveness and access to innovation.
- Manage local supplier landscape in line with business strategies (e.g., payment terms, manage tail spend, local supplier management process).
- Control spending and build a culture of long‑term saving on procurement costs.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent business work experience.
- Team player, pro‑active, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Highly organized and systematic.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and management.
- Proven track record of developing effective sourcing strategies and bringing value‑added procurement processes.
- Experience in SAP is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of business experience in Procurement and Supply Chain.
