As an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Engineer , you will work with the local site and global stakeholders (Process and Equipment Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer etc) to drive for good incoming material quality. You will support incoming quality systems by providing key metrics, support quality systems strategic direction, participate in quality activities and interacting on continuous improvement projects. Additional responsibilities include serving as the site quality liaison for partner groups and manufacturing areas, providing support for quality documentation, and developing relationships to collaboratively generate new ideas and procedures to keep pace with industry standards and methods.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Ensure consistent quality for all incoming materials, including but not limited to, HBM materials.
Continuously enhance IQC business processes.
Qualify new IQC tools.
Develop and document IQC procedures and establish operation and preventive maintenance systems.
Set up and maintain SAP QM for incoming materials.
Implement Statistical Process Control monitoring programs and reaction mechanisms.
Manage material disposition through the incoming material MRB (iMRB).
Support First Article Inspection activities for new materials.
Collaborate with global stakeholders on supplier quality management.
Work effectively with both external and internal groups, maintaining a positive, customer service-oriented attitude.
Participate in on-site supplier audits as needed.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical/ Material/ Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron
Knowledge and experiences in Artificial Intelligence applications is a plus

Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
