- Provide operational support across multiple data centers, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
- Monitor and respond to alarms and alerts from various systems, including Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), Server Automation Operations System (SAOS), CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), and other relevant functions such as Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Security.
- Assess the severity and impact of incidents, providing critical insights to resolution teams.
- Maintain detailed records of alarm-handling activities, document resolutions in ticketing systems, and compile incident reports.
- Act as an incident commander when necessary, coordinating responses to critical issues.
- Assist program managers in facilitating project execution, supporting operational and engineering improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions.
- Utilize structured problem-solving techniques, such as the Five Whys, to diagnose underlying causes of incidents.
- Manage and process tickets within the designated system, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while performing daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a command center, service center, or similar 24/7 operations environment.
- Strong ability to assess and prioritize multiple incidents based on risk levels and confidence factors.
- Technical knowledge of systems related to IP networks, data center environments, and server health.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and continuous improvement.
- Capability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization, including clients, while working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR, with an awareness of the importance of securing sensitive information.
