Incident Management Specialist

Our client is a leading bank, seeking an experienced Incident Management Specialist to join their regional team supporting critical banking and payments applications across APAC. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations, managing high-priority incidents, and driving process improvements in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What youll be doing:

• Lead and coordinate incident resolution across technology and business teams, ensuring minimal impact to operations.
• Manage end-to-end triage, provide timely updates, and deliver clear communication to senior stakeholders.
• Support regional and global payment applications while working closely with teams across APAC, India, and EMEA.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to incident and problem management processes.
• Prepare management information reports, document known errors, and share operational best practices.
• Work in close partnership with regional teams to ensure smooth daily handovers and operational alignment.

What youll bring:

• Strong background in Incident & Problem Management with knowledge of ITIL frameworks (certification a plus).
• Prior experience in banking, payments, or financial services environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical impact into clear, business-friendly updates.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work effectively with cross-regional teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple priorities under pressure.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or public holidays (with time off in lieu/compensation).
