Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an In-House Legal Counsel / Corporate Lawyer. The individual in this role will provide legal advice, support contract negotiations, prepare and review legal documents, and address legal issues relevant to the company's operations. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with legal requirements and mitigating risks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Law and Legal Issues, including a strong understanding of corporate and business law.
- Experience in Contract Negotiation and preparation of associated documentation.
- Competency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and revising agreements.
- Ability to provide sound Legal Advice to support corporate decision-making.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
- Prior experience in the food technology or intellectual property sectors is a plus.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or an equivalent qualification, with licensing to practice law in applicable jurisdictions.
