Job Summary
Manage regional travel projects by planning, monitoring progress, and delivering client-focused technology and service solutions. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to implement and enhance travel management services, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plan and control project scope, monitor progress and performance, and manage project deliverables and risks to ensure successful outcomes
- Implement online and offline travel solutions for new and existing clients in collaboration with the Online Service Group
- Collaborate with Technology Team and regional partners to identify and deliver tailored products and service solutions for clients
- Prepare and analyze Management Information (MI) reports for clients and recommend enhancements based on feedback
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify client settings and system functionality before deployment
- Record, manage, and escalate project issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality
- Deliver user training sessions for internal stakeholders to ensure effective system use and adoption
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by reporting managers to support team and project needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in the travel industry, preferably within a Travel Management Company (TMC) environment
- At least 5 years of experience managing regional operations or similar roles
- Solid experience in project management with sound knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and Online Booking Tool (OBT) technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to support reporting and presentations
- Strong written and oral English communication skills to engage effectively with clients and teams
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset to anticipate and address challenges
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results within tight deadlines
