A leading global financial technology provider is looking for an Implementation Consultant to join its growing team. The Implementation Consultant will own the project delivery lifecycle for new client implementations and Statements of Work, working closely with clients and internal teams across the business.

What you'll do
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with clients and develop a detailed understanding of their business strategies and workflows across multiple asset classes.
- Work closely with clients to ensure they are well supported and expectations are effectively managed throughout the engagement.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the client organisation, including Trading, IT, COO and Compliance.
- Identify opportunities to expand the relationship and introduce additional solutions where appropriate.
- Monitor competing solutions and identify potential opportunities or threats.
- Proactively identify risks arising from product or support gaps.
- Identify potential business risks associated with client consolidation, restructuring or downsizing.
- Maintain accurate client information, feedback and reporting within CRM systems.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives across the existing client base.
- Support client networking and relationship-building activities.
- Act as a point of escalation for ongoing client support issues.
- Provide high-level business updates to internal stakeholders.
Implementation Management
- Initiate and lead project kick-offs with new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from the sales process into implementation.
- Work with clients to define and document complex workflows and business requirements, translating these into Statements of Work.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver client requirements across multiple asset classes.
- Manage client expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Deliver user training and provide onsite or remote implementation support.
- Set up and configure client User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Liaise with brokers, dealers and execution venues to provide clients with access to required trading destinations.
- Manage complex implementation projects across internal and external teams, ensuring dependencies are identified and resolved quickly.
- Maintain implementation checklists and ensure all requirements are completed ahead of production.
- Work closely with clients to identify and understand their business requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to deliver agreed solutions.
- Create Statements of Work defining proposed solutions and implementation requirements.
- Review and test new client workflows before handover.
- Assist with troubleshooting where required.
- Create and maintain client workflow and implementation documentation.
- Manage the full project lifecycle and accurately record project activity and time.
You should have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical understanding of buy-side front-office workflows, with experience across at least two of the following:
- Fixed Income
- Equities
- Listed Derivatives
- Digital Assets / Crypto
- Hands-on knowledge and experience of Order Management and Execution Management workflows and functionality.
- Strong understanding of financial markets products and the electronic trading lifecycle.
- Understanding of related regulatory, risk and operational considerations, as well as front-office order execution and order-flow requirements.
- A strong network of relevant contacts within the buy-side community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Additional language skills would be advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to accommodate client deadlines and international time zones.
- Ability and willingness to provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members.
- Experience using tools such as Salesforce, JIRA and Confluence.
