IM Lead/Manager

Job Description:

To plan, coordinate and manage delivery of required Project Information Management requirements for projects. The IM&IS Lead Engineer is responsible for the running of day-to-day activities pertaining to Information Management (IM) matters.

Job Accountabilities:

1.Overall management and coordination of IM & IT requirements for the project.

2.Responsible for digital twin and data centric project delivery

3.Manage and development IM and digital delivery specifications, execution plan andprocedures

3.Ensure that the entire project Team understands, supports and adheres to the project digitaldelivery and IM strategy

4.Ensure the quality of deliverables and the effectiveness of tools deployed in IM

5.Ensure that the progressive and final handover of documents and data are in place toeffectively deliver to the requirements of the Project.

6.Interface with the Company/Engineering Contractor/Suppliers/Construction & Completionteam for project IM requirements

7.Develop and maintain the Data Management Plans and Procedures.

8.Manage the project class library to support engineering data collection

9.Validate and check consistency of tagging data and the progressive transfer of the'cleansed data to engineering data warehouse

10.Manage the Document Control Team and their work assignments

Special requirement (tools & equipment used, external contracts etc.)

.Experience in Aveva Engineering, Aveva Net, Aveva ISM, etc.

.Experience in database management system, SQL development, VBA, SQL serverreporting services

Other features of job (shift or night work, travel, working conditions etc.)

Occasional Travel to other Project offices and project offices

Knowledge and skills

.Skills in class library, tagging rules and data definition

.Experience in configuration and implementation of data collection, validation, integration,exchange and reporting

.Experience in supplier tag and data management

Education, qualifications and special training

Engineering Degree in related field

Years of experience needed.

Minimum 15 yrs experience especially in oil and gas offshore projects

Personality traits

Pro-Active management style, ability to lead a team of data engineers, good communication skills, able to make appropriate decisions based on understanding of potential risk impact to project budgets, schedules, and quality in deliverables

Physical requirements

Able to do construction site visit and overseas travel when required.

.Be capable of reviewing and managing subcontracted engineering project team executionplans, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
