Job Summary
Teach IELTS classes and prepare students for the official examination, focusing on learners requiring language support. Prior IELTS teaching experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver IELTS lessons covering Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking aligned with IELTS band descriptors to improve student performance
- Provide targeted feedback and correction to students to develop strategies for band score improvement
- Conduct mock IELTS tests and track learner progress by creating clear, actionable improvement plans
- Maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and participation
- Use clear explanations and structured guidance to address language gaps and enhance comprehension
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of IELTS teaching experience
- CELTA, DELTA, or Trinity TESOL certification preferred
- Strong understanding of IELTS assessment criteria and CEFR framework
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
