Job Description

Job Summary

Support the school's ICT initiatives by assisting in project planning, ICT programme implementation, resource management, training delivery, and multimedia content creation to enhance teaching, learning, and school events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and providing updates for school-initiated ICT projects, preparing relevant documentation and guidelines for effective project execution
  • Support implementation of ICT programmes ensuring strict adherence to MOE policies and guidelines
  • Manage ICT inventory and assets in collaboration with HOD/ICT and ICT Manager to maintain accurate records and optimize resource use
  • Supervise and coordinate tasks with ICT Support Personnel and external vendors to ensure smooth ICT operations
  • Assist in designing and delivering structured ICT training programmes for staff and students to enhance digital literacy
  • Establish and monitor processes for ICT-related programmes and activities to ensure quality and compliance
  • Design, maintain, and update the school website to support communication and information sharing
  • Create posters and collaterals for school events and communications using multimedia design tools
  • Produce photography and videography content for school needs, including pre- and post-production editing AI-related multimedia skills are advantageous
  • Compile and archive students ICT works and projects for showcases and records
  • Conduct online surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of ICT courses and resources, providing actionable feedback
  • Assist in physical setup and technical support for e-Oral and e-Listening Comprehension examinations
  • Provide Audio Visual (AV) support for school events and daily activities to ensure seamless presentations
  • Support teachers and HOD/ICT in integrating ICT tools into teaching and learning to enhance educational outcomes
  • Drive e-learning culture by assisting in the promotion and use of ICT tools and platforms among staff and students
  • Assist in planning and implementing e-learning activities to support curriculum delivery
  • Manage ICT resources including replacement, condemnation, and loaning of equipment in coordination with HOD/ICT and ICT Manager
  • Optimize and manage Learning Management System (LMS) tools and resources to support teaching and learning
  • Plan and conduct baseline and advanced ICT training sessions for students to build competence in ICT tools and e-learning platforms
  • Assist ICT Manager in training teachers on ICT and AV equipment usage to enhance instructional delivery
  • Review and improve training programmes for students and teachers based on feedback and evolving needs
  • Plan and conduct ICT-related activities during CCA training as required by the school authority
  • Train and prepare students for ICT competitions such as the National Robotic Competition to foster skills development

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum diploma in multimedia, design, computer studies, or information technology related fields
  • At least 12 months of relevant work experience, preferably in a primary school environment
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication
  • Proficient in Office Suite (Microsoft 365 Suite & Google Office Suite including Google Classroom)
  • Proficient in Adobe media editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and AI-related software
  • Proficient in Apple media editing software such as iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Garageband, Logic Pro, Motion, and AI-related software
  • Proficient in design media software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and AI-related software

Other Information

  • Working hours: Mondays to Thursdays, 7.30am to 5.00pm (inclusive of one-hour lunch break) Fridays, 7.30am to 4.30pm (inclusive of one-hour lunch break)
  • No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays unless required by the school
