Job Description

Contract Period: 1 January 2026 - 31 December 2026

Working Hours

  • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm (1-hour lunch break)

  • Wednesday: 9:00am - 6:30pm (1-hour lunch break)

  • Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

  • No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, or gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities

CCA & ICT Training

  • Conduct structured computing programmes:

    • Coding: Swift Playgrounds, Scratch, Micro:bit, MakeCode Arcade

    • App Development: Thunkable, GameSalad

    • 3D Design & Printing: Tinkercad, SketchUp

    • Graphics: Inkscape

  • Deliver Learning with iPad sessions under the 1:1 Personalised Learning Device Programme

  • Train students on Learning Platforms:

    • Student Learning Space (SLS)

    • Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple Classroom

  • Introduce EdTech tools including gamification, AR & VR

  • Maintain IT tools and software for ICT programmes and workshops

AV Systems & Media Production

  • Support AV training for students under the Infocomm Club

  • Assist in maintenance and setup of school PA systems

  • Support live streaming of school events using OBS

  • Guide students in video production and editing (Final Cut Pro)

  • Monitor and encourage student usage of the Recording Studio

Makerspace Support

  • Conduct and organise makerspace workshops

  • Maintain makerspace and equipment

  • Assist students in safe and effective use of makerspace tools

Teacher & School Support

  • Conduct IT and EdTech training workshops for teachers

  • Co-teach lower secondary Project Work (Coding) using Design Thinking

  • Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned by:

    HOD ICT, SH ICT, ICT Manager, Principal & Vice-Principals

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • ITE or Diploma in IT or IT-related discipline

  • Relevant professional IT/EdTech certifications (preferred)

Technical & Digital Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Apple hardware & iPad ecosystem

  • Ability to teach:

    • App Development: Thunkable, GameSalad

    • Programming: Scratch, Micro:bit, MakeCode Arcade, Swift Playgrounds

    • 3D Printing & Design: Tinkercad, SketchUp

  • Proficiency with:

    • Microsoft 365, Google Workspace

    • Video & photo editing tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)

    • Collaborative tools: Padlet, ClassKick

    • Gamification, AR & VR tools (e.g. Reality Composer)

  • Working knowledge of AV systems and broadcasting tools (OBS)

  • Familiar with maker tools and equipment used in school makerspaces
