IB – Cross Product & Platform Solutions Structurer- Associate

Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:

As a Credit and Credit Hybrids structurer in the Cross Product and Platform Solutions team, you will be responsible for the marketing, pricing, execution, and pipeline management of repackaging and on-balance sheet Credit and Credit Hybrid structured notes transactions for clients based in the APAC region. You will especially take a critical role for the Credit and Hybrids structured notes business for APAC and be expected to entirely manage the day-to-day runs, pricing, pipeline, and execution process for Credit and Hybrids structured notes with private banking clients.

Your key responsibilities

As a Credit & Credit Hybrids Structurer you will be responsible for:

• Structuring of Structured Credit and Hybrid Credit transactions including idea generation, product development, marketing, structuring, pricing Client RFQs, execution, and model development working with the traders and strats.

• Covering the Client space in APAC for structured notes and as such must have a detailed understanding of the client base and their investment goals and constraints

• Forming part of deal team alongside colleagues within trading and coverage teams on specific transactions

• Partner with key stakeholders in Sales and Trading to develop business plans and strategies for the Credit and Credit Hybrid structured notes business, take a leading role in coordinating planning forums and management information for the monitoring of the business

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 3 to 6 years experience in the structuring of Credit and Hybrid Credit transactions

• Minimum 3 years direct experience in pricing, execution, run generation, and documentation of such trades is critical

• A deep understanding of the pricing models and associated charges and limitations of the pricing models used for Credit and Hybrid Credit trades

• The individual needs to be proactive and can take the lead on new product development and expand the suite of products offered by Deutsche Bank in the Credit and Hybrid Credit space

• Must have direct experience in structuring and executing Credit and Hybrid Credit transactions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize a large workload to meet pressing deadlines

• Partnership and collaboration skills to organize complex transactions touching multiple business areas

• Documentation expertise for similar complex transactions is essential

• Pricing and risk management expertise in relation to Credit derivatives

• Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely
