Your key responsibilities:

• Grow the APAC metals franchise and drive metals transactions across Institutions and Corporates

• Originate and lead transactions from start to finish, collaborating with internal stakeholders on documentation, credit approvals, product approvals and ultimately conclude the execution of these deals.

• Direct coverage of institutional and corporate clients in non-restricted markets for precious & base metal products. Enablement for precious & base metal products through onshore sales in restricted markets.

• Support product development and contribute to overall business framework & revenue plan for Asia Pacific.

• Identify and assess the various risks inherent to specific client transactions (credit and market risks, legal and compliance, operational risk).

• Work in close cooperation with Sales, Trading and teams on most suitable solution for the client

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum 7 years experience in precious and base metal products, including derivative pricing, legal documentation and credit

• Prior experience in coverage of institutional clients including sovereign, private banks, hedge funds and commercial banks

• Strong technical background with experience in leading and closing metaltransactions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients

• A strong growth mindset, with experience originating business and expanding an existing client base

• The ideal candidate will be both a problem solver who is able to use their knowledge to find constructive solutions and a client-facing person able to support coverage in direct engagement

• Demonstrate excellent soft skills including deal communications and strong team play
