Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for hybrid infrastructure, aligning with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective hybrid solutions across on-premise data centers and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead modernization initiatives, including data center upgrades, cloud migrations, and hybrid integrations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, edge computing, serverless, etc.) to recommend innovative infrastructure solutions.
- Architect and optimize on-premise systems, including virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage (SAN/NAS/Object), and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP).
- Implement cloud solutions, covering IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and hybrid networking/security.
- Drive automation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.) and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance and security by implementing best practices, governance, disaster recovery, and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, security, application, and business) to deliver aligned infrastructure solutions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, manage vendor relationships, and clearly communicate technical strategies to stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years in IT infrastructure, with 5+ years in architecture roles involving hybrid/on-premise/cloud.
- Hybrid Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with at least two major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- On-Premise Knowledge: Strong background in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, networking, and Windows/Linux administration.
- Cloud Architecture Skills: Proven track record designing and implementing cloud-native, hybrid, and migration solutions.
- Automation Proficiency: Skilled in Infrastructure as Code, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and configuration management tools.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in hybrid deployments.
- Security & Compliance: Expertise in IAM, encryption, network security, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications (Preferred): AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Architect, VMware VCP/VCAP, CISSP/CCSP.
