Job Description & Requirements
- Specialize in the Marine refrigeration and air-conditioning field - Installing and overhauling refrigeration units in merchant ships, oil rigs, and other offshore vessels.
- MRO services, including planning, troubleshooting, diagnosing, minor repair, and a complete overhaul of major OEM marine propulsion equipment
- Includes commissioning of new gearbox involving yard, basin, and sea trials
- Prepare field service report with appropriate photos of before and after repair for the final report to the client
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of faults on an electrical system with minimum guidance
- Assist Workshop Manager in preparing parts quotation for Purchaser to procure spares to conduct repair and/or overhaul.
- Conduct daily Tool Box meetings and ensure compliance with workplace safety and health practices
- Supervise/junior coach engineers, where necessary.
- Perform other jobs as required by the Workshop from time to time.
