HVAC Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership Lead and support industrial projects both locally and internationally, covering sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors, Data Centers, Food, Daily Chemicals, and New Energy facilities.
2. HVAC System Design Independently develop HVAC design deliverables across Conceptual Design (CD), Basic Design (BD), and Detailed Design (DD) phases, including:

• User Requirement Specifications
• Load and Air Balance Calculations
• Airflow and Instrumentation Diagrams
• AHU Zoning and Pressurization Layouts
• HVAC Design Reports
• Duct Layouts and Technical Specifications
• 3D Modeling (Revit/SketchUp)
• Detailed and Shop Drawing development or review

3. Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate and manage LDI, PE, and QP teams during design and project execution.
4. Procurement Support Assist in procurement activities such as BOQ preparation, value engineering, preparation of bidding documents, and technical bid evaluations.
5. Design Review & Compliance Review submissions from LDIs and subcontractors to ensure alignment with local codes, standards, and URS requirements.
6. Construction Support Provide technical support during site construction activities when required.
7. Sustainability & Certification Support Support FM and LEED-related design consultancy tasks.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; candidates with over 10 years of experience is a plus.
• Able to work independently while demonstrating teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in office software and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, CFD, and related applications.
• Familiar with FDA, cGMP, ISO 14644, and general engineering practices.
• Knowledge of local building codes and international standards including IBC, IMC, ASHRAE, and others.
• Understanding of HVAC material selection.
• Willing to travel for short business assignments (3-6 months).
