We are now looking for an HR Specialist to be based in Singapore supporting our Asia region, covering Singapore, Shanghai, and Tokyo, consisting of a total of 33 colleagues.

Your role

This role requires a mature and self-driven HR professional who is comfortable taking ownership, making sound decisions independently, and proactively engaging stakeholders across time zones. You will front the employee and candidate experience with Monjasa for this region by:

  • Acting as an administrator of our recruitment platform (Emply) and people management system (CatalystOne)
  • Managing employment contracts, employee handbooks, and policy updates, and you provide structured administrative support for HR projects and reporting
  • Coordinating work pass and visa applications in cooperation with external vendors
  • Supporting HR legal matters in collaboration with our HR Business Partner and legal advisors. You will also ensure compliance with Asian and relevant regulations across the Asia region
  • Driving end-to-end recruitment processes, including interviews, assessment feedback and onboarding, and liaise with external recruitment partners. You will participate in employer branding initiatives, including social media and trainee programmes

Your Profile:

We imagine that you:

  • Have 34 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a regional or multinational environment and you hold a bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, communications, or a related discipline
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with managers and colleagues, and you enjoy working being able to prioritize - in a collaborative and respectful team environment and dynamic business environment
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital HR tools and AI solutions, and you take a data-driven and process-oriented approach to your work being experienced in supporting work passes and local HR administration
  • Are comfortable working independently for large parts of the day and stay motivated by ownership, responsibility, and trust
