Our client is a reputable regional organization with operations across multiple markets in Asia. They are seeking an HR Manager to lead HR operations while partnering closely with leaders and managers to support effective people practices and organizational priorities.
This role is suited for a hands-on HR professional with strong operational discipline and HR advisory experience, who enjoys balancing HR governance with people partnering.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing core HR operations including payroll and benefits governance, while partnering closely with managers on people matters across the employee lifecycle. You will also play an important role in strengthening HR processes, data governance, and operational systems to support scalable and compliant people practices.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Governance
- Oversee outsourced payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and service quality
- Ensure timely statutory submissions and adherence to Singapore employment regulations
- Strengthen operational governance across payroll, benefits, and people operations
HR Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management, and workforce matters
- Support leaders in resolving disciplinary cases, grievances, and sensitive employee issues
- Partner hiring managers on recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes
Insurance & Retirement Administration
- Manage group insurance renewal and employee coverage matters
- Administer retirement fund activities including regulatory filings, audits, and benefit calculations
HR Systems & Data Governance
- Act as functional owner for HR systems supporting payroll and people operations
- Strengthen HR data governance, reporting, and compliance across systems
- HR Projects & Process Improvement
- Support HR initiatives and operational improvement projects
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance employee experience

Requirements
- 68 years of HR generalist experience
- Strong experience in HR business partnering and employee relations advisory
- Experience overseeing payroll and benefits operations (outsourced environment preferred)
- Solid knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF, and IRAS regulations
- Strong operational and systems mindset with attention to detail
- Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline
