Human Resources Manager (HR Business Partner)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Manager to partner closely with business leaders in driving people strategies and enhancing organisational performance. Reporting directly to the HR VP, you will serve as the key HR partner for the Singapore office, supporting approximately 50 employees across the full employee lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, balancing strategic HR partnering with hands-on operational HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR Business Partner to business leaders, providing strategic and operational HR support.
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning, employee engagement, talent management, succession planning and performance management.
  • Advise stakeholders on employee relations matters, HR policies, employment legislation and best HR practices.
  • Lead and manage the annual performance review and salary review processes.
  • Support and administer Compensation & Benefits programmes, including salary benchmarking, annual increment and bonus exercises, benefits administration and market analysis.
  • Work closely with the HR Director on HR initiatives, organisational development and change management projects.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Support recruitment activities for the Singapore office when required.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation and internal HR policies.
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Participate in regional or global HR projects where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Compensation & Benefits, including salary reviews and benchmarking.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
  • Well-versed in the Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Experience supporting a professional or technology-driven environment will be advantageous.
