Your Role in VT Markets:
As a Human Resources Intern, you will report to the HR team and support core people operations across recruitment, employee engagement, and HR administration. Based in Singapore, this role offers exposure to a fast-growing, multi-country organization operating across 15+ markets. You will work closely with recruiters, HR business partners, and operations stakeholders to support end-to-end hiring activities, employee lifecycle processes, and engagement initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in building scalable HR processes, supporting workforce growth, and contributing to a positive and well-structured employee experience.
Job ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Data Management
Maintain and update comprehensive employee records in HRIS systems and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across our global workforce.
Execute HR reporting initiatives, perform detailed data entry, and validate employee information for compliance and operational needs.
Prepare and process HR documentation including employment contracts, confirmation letters, internship agreements, and exit documentation using HRIS platforms.
Employee Lifecycle Management
Coordinate onboarding experiences including welcome kit preparation, induction session scheduling.
Facilitate smooth offboarding processes, conducting exit formalities and ensuring proper knowledge transfer.
Manage internship programs and probation review cycles, coordinating with managers to ensure timely evaluations and feedback sessions.
Engagement & Internal Communications
Organize HR initiatives, employee engagement activities, and wellbeing programs that foster our collaborative culture.
Develop HR communications, company-wide announcements, and regular newsletters that keep our global team connected and informed.
Compliance & Policy Enhancement
Maintain meticulous filing systems, conduct regular audits, and manage employee documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Work on policy and contract revamping initiatives to ensure competitive benefits packages and alignment with industry standards.
Strategic HR Projects
Participate in cross-functional projects that support process improvement, digitalization initiatives or surveys.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Job Experience & Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities with enthusiasm for learning HR processes and engaging with diverse teams.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.
Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
