Role Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience in regional HR initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. The HR Intern will support key projects focused on standardisation, process improvement, and HR best practices across multiple countries.

Working closely with the Regional Head of HR - JAPAC, the intern will be exposed to strategic HR topics while contributing to meaningful, real-world deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support regional HR projects aimed at harmonizing processes, policies, and frameworks across Asia Pacific markets
  • Assist in the review, documentation, and standardisation of HR policies, templates, and workflows
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on HR practices across different countries within the region
  • Coordinate with country HR teams to gather inputs, track progress, and support project implementation
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and project materials for regional stakeholders
  • Maintain organised documentation of HR processes, guidelines, and project updates
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for ongoing regional HR initiatives
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to gain exposure to regional HR strategy and operations

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in HR, particularly in regional or multinational environments
  • Good organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to handle multiple tasks

Preferred Attributes

  • Interest in HR transformation, process improvement, or organizational development
  • Exposure to project work (academic or extracurricular)
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural and regional environment

Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate programme with a Singapore-based university
  • Candidates must be able to fulfil internship requirements in line with their university's guidelines
  • Must have the legal right to work in Singapore i.e. student pass (no sponsorship provided)
