Job Purpose
As a key member of the Group HR Information Systems (HRIS) team, you will play an integral role in strengthening NHG's HR technology landscape and ensuring the seamless operation of missioncritical HR systems across the cluster. In this role, you will provide firstline functional and operational support for assigned HRIS modules, ensuring system reliability, timely issue resolution, and a consistently positive user experience for HR partners and employees.
You will work closely with institutions, HR stakeholders, and external technology partners to support system enhancements, data accuracy, change management activities, and user adoption efforts. Beyond daytoday issue resolution, the role offers opportunities to contribute to system improvements, process optimisation, and documentation that enhance longterm system stability and HR service delivery.
Given the evolving nature of HR digital transformation, the role may expand over time to include additional modules, crossinstitution system initiatives, or broader responsibilities within the HRIS function. These changes may arise from organisational priorities, system roadmap progression, or demonstrated capability and readiness for deeper technical or crossfunctional responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Provide daytoday functional support for assigned HRIS modules, including troubleshooting, configuration updates, and user guidance.
2. Assist in system change requests by gathering requirements, preparing documentation, and coordinating UAT activities.
3. Support deployment of system enhancements by performing test execution, data checks, and postgolive validation.
4. Collaborate with HR partners, institutions, IT teams, and vendors to clarify issues and ensure smooth HRIS operations.
5. Contribute to system adoption by preparing user guides, process documentation, and simple reference materials.
6. Participate in process reviews and identify opportunities for simplification or improvement within the HRIS workflow.Provide adhoc support during system changes, peak periods, or team coverage needs.
7. Maintain data accuracy by supporting data validation exercises and routine system checks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Experience: 35 years of experience in HRIS support, HR operations, or related technology roles
- Skills & Knowledge:
Working knowledge of HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent
Ability to interpret HR processes and translate them into system actions
Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills
Comfortable handling data, performing testing, and preparing documentation
