We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join Skills Development Academy. This role supports end-to-end HR operations, ensuring smooth payroll processing, statutory compliance, grants administration, and a seamless employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple HR functions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll, including commissions and incentive calculations
Handle final salary computation, including pro-ration, deductions, and encashments
Prepare and submit IR21 and IR8A in compliance with tax regulations
Submit and manage Government Paid Leave (GPL) and NS claims
Support submission of MOM surveys and ensure regulatory compliance
Manage and submit training grants and funding claims, ensuring proper documentation
Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
Address employee enquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality
Prepare HR reports (e.g., headcount, payroll, operational metrics)
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders where required
Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
Minimum O Level or equivalent qualification
At least 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
Familiar with MOM guidelines and Singapore employment regulations
Experience in handling training grants and funding claims is preferred
Familiarity with Infotech HR system will be an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information with integrity
Proactive, independent, and able to multitask effectively
