As we continue our global expansion, we are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR Generalist to support our inhouse people operations, employee experience, compliance, and organizational growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
Talent & Organizational Development
- Partner with recruitment teams and hiring managers to support workforce planning and hiring initiatives.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Support learning and development programs, training administration, and performance management processes.
- Assist in implementing HR initiatives that improve employee retention, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation management, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR letters, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Ensure employee data is accurately maintained within HR systems and personnel files.
- Support payroll preparation and coordinate with payroll vendors or internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
Employee Relations & HR Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries.
- Build trusted relationships with employees and managers across different functions and locations.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, team-building activities, and company events.
- Assist managers in handling employee performance, attendance, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.
Compliance & Policy Administration
- Ensure HR practices comply with local employment regulations and company policies.
- Support work pass, visa, and employment-related documentation where applicable.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal procedures.
- Monitor HR compliance requirements across Singapore, Malaysia, and other operating markets.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in HR transformation and process improvement projects.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to management on employee trends and workforce data.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
- Support regional HR initiatives as the company continues to expand globally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
- 5 - 10 years of HR Generalist, HR Operations, People Operations, or Human Resources Business Partner experience.
- Familiarity with Singapore and/or Malaysia employment regulations and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting payroll, employee lifecycle management, and HR administration.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures and functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Chinese language capability is advantageous due to frequent interactions with regional stakeholders.
